What is Grand Sports Day?
Grand Sports Day is the championship layer that sits above individual sport events. You create one Grand Sports Day for your annual event, then link as many tournaments (Cricket, Football, Kabaddi…) and athletics events (Sprint, Long Jump…) as you want. Each linked event contributes points to the house leaderboard.
What you can do
House teams
Create 2–8 houses with custom names and colors. Red House, Blue House, or Engineering, Sales — whatever fits your org.
Link any events
Attach existing tournaments and athletics events as "sections". Each section feeds points to the house leaderboard.
Custom points config
Set 1st/2nd/3rd points per section. Cricket winner gets 10, Athletics 1st place gets 8 — your call.
Participant registration
Share a public link — participants fill in their name, house, and events. You approve or reject each one from the dashboard.
Live public leaderboard
One shareable link shows all houses ranked. Updates in real-time via WebSocket as results come in.
Access control
You control visibility. Keep it private during setup, flip it public when the event goes live.

Create the Grand Sports Day
Add the event name, date, and venue. This is your championship container.

Set up your houses
Add 2–8 house names with colors. These are the teams competing for the overall title.

Create your individual events
Set up each tournament (Cricket, Football…) and athletics event (Sprint, Long Jump…) separately first.

Link events as sections
Come back to Grand Sports Day → Sections tab. Add each event as a section and set the points config (1st: 10, 2nd: 6, 3rd: 3).

Share the registration link
Participants can register themselves online — they pick their house and the events they're entering. You get a dashboard to approve or reject.

Go live
Turn on public visibility. Share the leaderboard link with everyone — it updates automatically as each event result is recorded.
